CONSUMPTION & EMISSIONS

 

How does i-Phi Technology reduce my fuel costs and engine emissions?

By adding minuscule amounts of hydrogen and pure oxygen to the air intake manifold, it provides a more complete burn of the carbon-based fuel.

How is your technology powered and will this reduce the energy savings of your technology?

Our technology uses a very small amount of electricity (about 345 watts) to operate but saves far more energy than it consumes, resulting in a significant net fuel savings.
 

What are the environmental benefits of your equipment?

The environmental benefits are very significant and include significant reductions in GHG emissions, NOx emissions, particulate matter, and total hydrocarbon (THC).

 

Can I earn any carbon credits by using your technology?

We have a carbon credit certification program, which will allow you to calculate the reduction in GHG and the amount of carbon credits you will earn.

 

IMPACTS ON THE ENGINE

Do I have to do any regular maintenance on your equipment?

No, our units do not require any maintenance and actually reduce your regular engine maintenance requirements, including reduced oil changes, diesel particulate filter maintenance, exhaust gas recirculation maintenance, and diesel exhaust fluid usage.

You will need to periodically add a small amount of distilled water to our technology (about 1 litre every 1,500 kilometres).  Tap water can have impurities that may reduce the efficiency of our technology over time and voids the Warranty.

 

What happens to the unit and the distilled water tank when the vehicle is parked at below freezing temperatures?

The distilled water will freeze, but the system has enough solution to operate for 20 hours at temperatures down to -60 degrees.  Long before the solution is used up the distilled water will thaw.

 

What impact does your technology have on the power output of my engine?

Our technology increases your engine horsepower by 4 to 6% because it allows the fuel to burn more completely.

 

 

PRODUCT FEATURES

How long will each unit last and are periodic upgrades required?

Our I-PHIs unit will last at least as long as your vehicle and can be easily moved to another vehicle. No upgrades are required.

 

Can you provide monitoring so I can see my fuel consumption and emissions?

We can provide a monitoring system that records fuel consumption, load monitoring, and output data analysis. We can install this monitoring equipment before installing our technology so you can compare your engine performance before and after installing our technology.
 

A Portable Emissions Measurement Sampling (PEMS) test is needed to monitor emissions and can cost a significant amount.  Instead, we can use your fuel usage data to calculate the reduction in GHG emissions.

 

POTENTIAL RISKS
